I Work In a Nursery/Preschool,
Can I Join the Hub?

The Hub is only for those working as childminders from their own homes or non-domestic premises.  If your setting is categorised as a private nursery or public/charitable preschool, then the Hub is not available to you. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

The reason being is there are already great organisations, including several unions, that provide assistance for early years' educators working in nurseries and pre-schools, but there's a distinct lack of support for childminders when it comes to the day to day running of their businesses.

Here are the external links to some that you may find useful.

My Business May
Be of Interest to Childminders, Can
I Join the Hub?

Friendly Childminders' Hub membership is not available to the owners of businesses, however there could be an opportunity for collaboration if your business' values align with those of the Hub.

For more information on 'Considered Collaborations', please have a nosey here. â€‹â€‹â€‹

If you've explored this website already, you may have seen in the Story Behind the Hub, that the Hub came about because of the Facebook group, Friendly Childminders.  Over the years, some businesses have sadly attempted to gain access to the group by providing false answers to the membership questions.  This tactic doesn't create a great first impression of a business and collaborations would immediately be declined if this was attempted. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Both the Facebook group and the Hub are about honesty and transparency.

If you wish to contact the Hub's founder about a collaboration, please get in touch and they will get back to you as soon as possible.

I Work For a Council/ Organisation, Can

If you wish to contact the Hub's founder about a collaboration, please get in touch and they will get back to you as soon as possible.
